Who We Are
Women’s Health Physical Therapy & Men’s Pelvic Health services was established 25 years ago as the first privately-owned practice in Richmond, specializing in abdominal and pelvic floor dysfunctions.
Our advanced, educated and trained physical therapists evaluate and treat people who present with diagnoses such as pelvic floor dysfunctions, back pain, vulvodynia, bowel and bladder dysfunction (incontinence, urgency, constipation, pain), prostatitis, pelvic and gastrointestinal post-op conditions and musculoskeletal problems.
Our team is committed to providing the highest standard of care by helping each patient reach their maximum potential, reduce pain and increase their function.
RVA's #1 Choice for Moms
What makes us the best choice? Postpartum Strong® is the first and only comprehensive pre- and post-delivery muscle rehabilitation program in RVA. We also offer the Tupler Technique® for diastasis recti.
As in other countries, we perform inexpensive muscle checks of the belly, pelvic floor and deep back extensors with coordinated breathing to determine if education and/or treatment is needed.
Our goal is to guide and support women in returning to their strongest, best selves in the childbearing year.
You are unique, and with that brings unique concerns, questions and goals!
Our mission is to provide a safe place for you to be your authentic self.
Your story matters to us.
